This is the latest in a series of application calls by the Fund which will distribute ‚€60 million in 2006. Locally based community and voluntary groups are eligible to apply for the following types of projects:— Small scale building and building enhancement projects in existing residential care units for people with disabilities; — Provision of residential houses/units which allow for the transition of people with disabilities from residential care settings to community based housing; — Aids and appliances for people with physical and sensory disabilities who are non-medical card holders. — Grants for accessible transport to provide first time or enhanced access to disability day services / community services for People with Disabilities in rural and isolated areas.
